New album now available on all music platforms!
FIND YOUR VOICE
I am very excited to announce the release of this album effective June2/19. The music is based off of an accumulation of some of my favourite ideas that I have discovered over the years of exploring polyrhythmic perspectives and various patterns. The aim of this project is to make a progressive style of music that is rich in rhythm, yet strong and rather simplified in song structure. The sound can be described as dark and hypnotic, with moments of beauty, optimism, and clarity cutting through. I am performing locally in support of the release. Live performances are the continuous flow of the album from beginning to end with live drums. The shows are accompanied by a methodically programmed light show, designed to accent and highlight the more odd layers to the rhythmic patterns with shape and colour.
Years ago, I wrote a note on a piece of paper in a moment of inspiration and hung it above my practice room door so I would see it daily as source of motivation. It remained there for years, with every glance being a driving force to practice harder. This albums release marks the long anticipated beginning of the execution of what my inner voice was telling me years ago. It is a self reflection, challenging me to have the vision and determination to create my own sound! I dedicate the album to this unforgotten whisper to myself. I now share this message and music with you! I hope that It will inspire and help you find your own creative voice...

1) This video is the live footage from my album release party on June1/2019. This was a very special weekend for many personal reasons. Even though we tracked the drums live to mix later, I decided in the end to just use the cell phone audio from my phone that was duct taped to a mic stand. I wanted to capture a glimpse of the incredible atmosphere that was there that night. A great night to be remembered!
